Aren't you a Broncos fan?

So, about that joke job they pulled in the playoffs?

Oh, and a Cam Newton fan also. That guy is so badass, doesn't lack any character.

Yes.

It sucked, but then again it's better to lose in the playoffs than sit at home and watch them.

He enjoyed those 2 wins over the Saints this year, I'm sure.

Look, the Saints have already proven year after year that they can have a good offense, and that will stay true until Drew Bree's retires. Going out and bringing in an old Randy Moss isn't a move to get you into the playoffs. Doing everything they can to improve the defense is. Whether or not they do one or the other is yet to be seen, but you don't fix something that isn't broken (offense) when you have something damn near close to one of the worst defenses the NFL has ever seen.

Having a head coach should get us into the playoffs. We had no coach, had no backup coach, had the worst statistical defense in the history of the league and only missed out by a couple of games. Get a few things righted and this is a 12+ win team again.

I think the #1 thing to do now is bring in any defensive player capable of playing the 34 defense. Draft, free agency, anything. The offense will be fine without Randy Moss. I've read that the Saints don't really have much cap room (no idea how much) so I think every penny should go on defense.

Now, getting a guy like Ed Reed or Charles Woodson would be a good move. Though they are also aging like Randy Moss, they are at a position of need.

For sure, although I think the Defense will get somewhat better just by not trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. I honestly think we DO need to make sure our Oline is ready to go. We're going to go only as far as our offense takes us, and the quickest path to a deep playoff run is going to be having the top offense in the league again...which should be a much easier task than building a good defense. If the Offense is driving and keeping the ball, it takes pressure off the defense as well. With the new rules, even the best defenses in the NFL were getting absolutely torched in the playoffs.

I'm all about bringing in guys who the front office thinks can make a difference no matter what position. That being said, I do not think Randy Moss is an upgrade at WR at this point.

I really don't want a roster spot taken by a part time player who isn't on special teams.

We lacked a head coach and a defense.

Wouldn't he be smarter to sign with a Super Bowl contender, then?
