Shouldn't LSU always have NFL talent at DT? Mickey Johnson is smaller than Josh Downs who was not very productive due to his size. I wish MJ well but he will get passed up by NFL talent and make a few mopup appearences.

Strong kid plated him in hs. He was a soph then. Very strong doesnt move well though and def tired out eaisly. Was a space eater then obvis he had improved. I pancaked him a couple times. Him and chucky hunter were the 2 best DL i blocked that yeat

Mickey may be shorter than Downs, but he's at least 30lbs heavier.
And Downs was so unproductive, he ended up playing a large portion of defensive snaps every game.

Seriously though, I am an athletic trainer and I covered the state powerlifting meet mickeys senior year. Have never seen anyone dominate every lift like he did that year. It was fun to watch

If he was that bad, the coaches would try to move him out via a transfer to another school.
