Houma Guys: How can they build the Prospect Lift Bridge any slower?

The empire state building was done in one year and 45 days, yet these bozos have made this a three year project!! THREE YEARS.

They learned how to build roads from the guys in Baton Rouge...

Impossible. They are still going way faster than any road contractor in Baton Rouge.

They brought in an out of state contractor for the bridge? That's insane to take that long, there should be some sort of LD clause in contract.

Looked to be close to opening the last time I was down. Really hasn't been a problem for us.

It has got to be very close. They had the road stripes painted on it two weeks ago, and yesterday the red blinking lights on the bridge were blinking!

My dad works for James. The bridge has been done for a few months now, but they were having some mechanical problems that had to be evaluated and fixed by some guys from over seas apparently. The construction company finished their part on schedule FWIW.
