LSU fans and fans of ALL teams need to get over whining about their bowl games.

There's the BCS Championship game (and soon to be playoffs) and there's everything else.

Does it really freaking matter if it's the Captial One Bowl or the Peach Bowl or the PapaJohna's Bowl? If it isn't for the national championship, it's a game purely for honor and school pride.

LSU has played in 44 bowl games and the national title was at stake in like 3-4 of them.

No excuses, no whining, you get a bowl game bid you take it, the teams and the fans should go out there and play with pride like a true competitor does.

Good, they deserve to, hope they learned a lesson. It was nice to see the Athletic Department get it stuck to them, after bending fans over as much as they do.

Yep. I'm sure they won't pass any of that loss on to the fans...

Well I'd say it's an LSU problem because we didn't lobby for a better bowl. Hopefully someone will get thicker skin to face the SEC in picking favorites

Which bowl would you like them to have lobbied for? Alabama and Florida took the BCS spots leaving. Georgia was very competitive against Alabama, making them still attractive to the CapitalOne. A&M had the Heisman trophy winner, and the Outback Bowl stayed with tradition by going with SC.
