Watching it for the first time tonight. What are the M/TV Board's thoughts on this movie?

Great lesbian scene. Cool Bill Ray Cyrus cameo. Dumpster dude and old people still scare the shite out of me.

It's not going to make total sense... but it still tells a full story. VERY open to interpretation.

I just rewatched it a few weeks ago.

I love that movie even though I have no freaking clue what's going on half the time. David Lynch's best imo....even better than Blue Velvet.

It's unique, that's for sure. Unlike any film (swidt?) I've seen before. The first viewing I really had no idea what the frick was going on but it gets easier to follow and understand on repeated viewings.

It's Lynch at his best, IMO.

I've watched it a few times. Very strange movie, which made it very interesting, at least for me. I think I get the premise but I kind of dont. I know the point of the movie is open to interpretation. I enjoyed it nonetheless.

I can't stand David Lynch's work. The visual aesthetic of his films throw me off.

meh, pretty weird, even for lynch. might have been worthwhile had the tv series happened, but as it stands, i doubt even lynch really knew what he was trying to do, fully. its one thing to leave a film open to interpretation, but i really feel lynch was just throwing ideas at a wall and waiting to see what people would say about them.

Yep

There is also a great scene at the opera. I've seen the movie 3 times and I still am not sure what happened. You'll be lost, but Naomi Watts has some nice breasteses.
