How much dry ice

I am overnight shipping 50 pounds of deer meat to a friend of mine. How many pounds of dry ice do I need to do this? And how should it be packed? Should the ice be put in the middle of the meat or does it matter? Thanks, R. Head

Meat was already frozen. UPS overnight was $178. $350 for am delivery. I went with the $178
