The pop thing deserves respect from a producer and engineering pov, making this stuff sound so good and be so catchy takes talent regardless if it's in Gmaj. That being said a drunk girl on a boat cranked up call me maybe excruciatingly loud one time and I hit her in the face with a red starburst.

If you are throwing starburst at a girl for liking THE most popular pop song of 2012, then you aren't very tolerant. A wise group of women once said, "Free your mind, and the rest will follow. Be colorblind, don't be so shallow."

You're so open minded and one with the world

Key words - drunk, excruitiatingly loud, "call me maybe"

I always judge people on what type of music they like moreso than any other character trait.

Seems silly

Go eat at a restaurant with someone and see how they treat the people serving them

That tells you everything you need to know

I moved down for college at LSU from Connecticut in 2005. Since that day I have met one (1) person who likes the Grateful Dead.

I've introduced them to people who ended up liking them a little, but literally met one (1) deadhead since I've been down here. And I met her on Frenchman Tuesday.

So I can't afford not to like people who don't like my same music.

If somebody likes Nickelback, I would find it difficult to be their friend. Seriously.

See this is what I am talking about. Its one thing for someone to like pop music and whatnot, I am fine with that but when they are at the extremes, like Nickleback I am pretentious and judge the shite out of them.

I tend to (lightly) judge based on musical tastes, I'm not going to lie. But sometimes, that is a great opportunity to expose them to other music. Some of them may even change their way of thinking/hearing.

I don't care about one's musical taste, even though many have their musical taste in their assholes. I tend to judge by the content of character and/or political leanings more than any other means.
