Need the OB help for a Mud buddy

friend got a used Mud buddy 25hp kohler hd sport with 261 hours. He says it needs a clutch and base plate but runs great with no smoke. The compression is 128 in both cylinders. He wants to sell it but doesn't know how much he should ask for it and I have zero knowledge when it comes to these. What does the OB think it's worth?

My buddy just told me he contacted Mud Buddy and will be getting the base plate to replace so the clutch is the only thing that it needs. He's thinking $1500 - $2000 cuz he wants to pay the fees to join a hunting club in Alabama. Does that sound fair?
