Can't see him not returning to UK for his Sophomore season.
I think the exact opposite. I don't think there's any way he comes back and risks another injury

I think he still comes out. No way he falls out the first round, so he will have guaranteed contract while rehabbing.

Yep. If the Rockets were willing to take a chance on Royce White at #16 this past year, some team will take a chance on Noel in the first round.

Uh, yeh, Noel is still going to go top-10 and probably top-5.

They had "red flags" though. They weren't coming off of knees that crumbled.

Considering Noel wouldn't be close to ready to play come draft time, I'd say his ACL would be a red flag.

Anyway, ACL's aren't really that big of a deal. Noel will be back to normal, it will just take awhile. If he declares some team will likely get a bargain.

Why would we take Noel?

I don't know but I don't think he'll drop to the Heat anyway

Players usually have a full recovery, it just takes a year or so.

I can't see that. He won't be ready to touch the floor until deep into next season and won't be back to normal until his 2nd season if ever. He already was a player with a limited skill set because of his lack of offense and now on top of that he is going into a major surgery.

I see him as another Tyson Chandler...the thing Noel has going for him is that he is 18. He'll most likely be top 10 imo.

I'd take him with the 6th pick if he fell.

Him being on the bench during his recovery would still be better for the team that Austin Rivers actually playing

Obviously. But you were talking about guys with possibilities for injuries in the future. Thats a totally different situation.

There's no guess work with Noel. Teams will have a clear choice of whether or not they want to take someone still recovering from an ACL tear. Greg Oden wasn't drafted 1st overall with knees that had already had microfracture surgery done on them.
