I havent bought this game in a few years but have they improved the AI controlled teams' recruiting at all mainly in the sense that it fits their system (i.e. a triple option team would recruit only fast QBs)? I would hate getting into year 4 or 5 and play GT for instance and they have some pocket passing QB trying to run that system.

Yes, I have a dynasty with Miami and GT has a very good QB running the triple option offense. It's easy to stop, but GT seems to have ATHs at the QB position every year.

I like most of the ideas in here, but I really want this game to get tougher.

Agreed. This is the main reason why I am still playing a career mode in FIFA 12. I am the top club in the world, but it is still challenging from game to game to win.

As someone said earlier, you can adjust sliders to suit you.

agree with the guy who said to make the game tougher. It's kind of hard to describe but there should be a tangible feel for the style of team you are trying to beat. The way the game currently stands and always has been is this weird unrealistic clone, where if you play 15 minute quarters you win by 300.

Exactly right. The only way to get realistic scores is to play 5 minute quarter with sliders adjusted but then your guys don't get the stats to win any award.
