I just bought a set online. 5-GW (I play Adams hybrids for the 3 & 4). True Temper Dynamic Gold shafts.

I've been playing Adams A7's and I like them, but the shafts are too light for me and I got the new set for not much more than it was going to cost me to have my old set reshafted.

Anybody play the Razr X Tour irons?

I don't, but I was looking at a pair on rockbottomgolf for pretty cheap. I'm interested in these and want to hear some opinions. I'm currently hitting a set if Ping Eye 2's

I love my Ping Zing irons and have been putting off getting clubs. If I get back into playing at least once a month again, I will have to bite the bullet and get some new ones. I do have a R7 driver and nice Ping putter. Just my irons are a little dated.

I have PIng Eye 2's as well.

I played a round with the black razr x and really liked them.

That's where I bought these. $369 for the set, no tax, no shipping.

The Tour irons? you think they look more gimmicky than other Callaway irons?

Switched to them in December. I was playing Ping S59 Tours and these are sooooo much easier to hit. I've hit one bad shot with these in 20-30 rounds. Fat/thin/pure they go straight unless I want to work the ball and then I can draw/fade. I can't hook/slice really with them though. Super easy to hit and I get zero roll out of them even with my winter ball of choice, Slazenger Feel. When I hit Urethane it backs up every time.

I just brought a Razr X and Razr X Tour iron demo from Edwin Watts to the range the other day. The Tours are solid sticks but I liked the RocketBladez way, way more overall

I'm in the market for some new irons as well. I'm in a similar position as you...shafts too heavy for me in my current AP2s. I love the irons themselves, but I think I'm going to go a different route to get a little more distance. Currently, I'm thinking it'll be between AP1s, Rocketbladez tour (they come out Friday in stores), and the Callaway X Hot pro. I've never hit the razr x tours, but the pics online look nice. Similar, but not quite as sleek as the new x hot pro.

The problem with the RocketBladz for me is that they have very light steel shafts (85 grams), so they would be whippy for me. That's the problewm I'm having right now with my current set of irons. The irons I bought have True Temper Dynamic Gold shafts, which weigh 127 grams.

Also, the RocketBladz have progressive offset, which I don't like. I have a 7 handicap, so I don't need the offset.

In other words, great clubs but not right for me.

The Rocketbladez you can literally push them in with your thumb. Should be great for distance. Worries me a bit on accuracy.

I couldn't actually bring one of those to the range so I'm going off the feel of hitting from the mat in EW. I'll probably just stick with my 755's
