The comment at the bottom made me laugh.

quote:

I had class with Vasquez when he was a senior at Maryland. I was wearing a Rockets hat the day I wound up sitting next to him, and he turned to me and said “You like the Rockets? I want to play for them.” I have a feeling it could have been any damn team and he would have said the same thing.

The dude is relentless. When he was a sophomore at Maryland, he was the cockiest kid, and, unlike what Ryan Anderson said, he had no humility. Maryland fans were so turned off by him they were booing him. After he had a good game, he turned to his own crowd and made the “shhhhh” motion with his finger to his lips. By his senior year, no one was more beloved by his own fans because everyone saw his progression as a player and a person.

Great article and I really hope we don't get rid of him. I don't care about his quickness or his defense, he plays with heart. I know this doesn't belong here and it could be due to injury but I would love to see what EG could do with Gravy's make up. That said, I think EG will show us big things in the near future.

Great article. I like the line about all 30 teams wanting a guy like him.

He can contribute to a title winning team. But not with this much of a say. His role needs to be superseded by someone with more talent and skill than him. Gotta have more.
