I doubt any other truck mentioned in this thread can outrun that tundra. Those things are FAST.

I don't like them at all, but that's a hell of a motor in that truck.

Just realize that if gas mileage is a major concern, you may want to go a different route such as a smaller half ton with a smaller v-8.

My buddy averages something like 14.5mpg with his riding around town. It pulls like a mother fricker though.

Yeah I really like that motor and the size of the truck. But there are some things I don't like.

I average 13 MPG city and Hwy- 4x4 w/ leveling kit and slightly larger tires than came with it.

Barely big enough for a decent sized Yeti and Salt Life decal.

This is correct. Don't get it if gas mileage is your concern. My brother has had 3. He puts a ton of miles on them and gets a new one. It's the best riding truck I've ever been in. Fast as hell, and can pull anything. Gets stuck like a 3/4 ton though. Can't catch a Ford in the woods.

Yea I'd have a hard time fitting all my flowmaster and dog hunting stickers on there.

They really are good trucks though.

If I thought I needed that much arse I'd get a 3/4 ton though. It pulls very good, but it's no 3/4 ton.

Have 2012 4x4 with leveling kit and bfg at's.

Get 12.5 city and 14.5 hwy going 75mph

I thought it would get a little better on the hwy. if i slow down to 60 mph i can get 17mpg

2011 Tundra 4x4 Crew max. I get 15-16.

I've been extremely pleased with it. No issues at all.
