Adam Zimmer to be under his father in Cincy

Former Saints and Chiefs defensive assitant has landed on the Bengals staff under his father. This goes back to the Payton coaching tree in a small way as Zimmer was defensive/LB assistant for four years including the Super Bowl season. There was a rumor after Zimmer was let go along with Romeo Crennel that he could land in Oakland once again under Dennis Allen, but Zimmer decided to go work for his father.

Good for him. Mike is a very underrated DC. The Bengals have had very good defenses under his tenure, not to mention his D's in Dallas in the early 2000's.
