Does anyone know any financial institution in the BR Metro area that would give a NON-customer a medallion guarantee stamp?

If your Bank doesn't do this, God help you if you ever inherit any stock through a computershare account.

If your bank doesn't offer....sounds like you need a new bank.

Call your bank and explain what you need and see if they would do it for you as a professional courtesy

FWIW I had to get one done a few months ago and UCB in Gonzales and it was no problem

The bank assumes a lot of risk, I would think most will require the person to be a customer.

ETA: I can tell you it is a requirement at Hancock/Whitney.

Where are the shares going to be held upon transfer? They should be able to sign off on the transfer.
