They haven't even started casting nor completed the script. There was no way it would come out in 2 years. It took them 3 years to make each prequel and that was after already having a script ready.

I would rather the release date be pushed back, than a piece of crap film pushed out for the release date.
I suffered through 3 Prequels...I can tolerate 1 more year of waiting for something I never thought I would see.

makes sense to me. I felt like 2015 was rushing it so if it takes another year for them to make a better film I'm all for it.

the prequels didn't suck because they "rushed them"...if anything shortening the time in post production may have forced them to make a better, tighter movie with less CGI characters
