A friend of mine gave me a good bit of breakfast sausage deer patties. I plan on cooking some with eggs but do they require seasoning? Doesn't appear to be any mixed but I figured breakfast sausage would be good to go without it. What you say? Any good ideas on what to cook with them?

Salt, pepper, garlic powder and a little sage maybe?

Yeah, I was thinking very minimal. Cook the eggs in the sausage grease. Cook down make a white gravy and homemade biscuits. All the deer meat I've eaten, I've never had sausage patties. I'm looking forward to it.

Wanna try something different? Try this with a small amount. Mix in a little maple syrup. just a little bit and cook it up slowly. Good stuff!

Unless I'm missing something, if it is breakfast sausage, it is already seasoned.

Better than anything from a store too.
