If he's making $2m next year from the Chiefs, and the Saints pay him $1m for next season, then he would still only make $2m: $1m from the Saints and now $1m from the Chiefs. Every dollar the Saints pay him is a dollar less the Chiefs do.

Thanks. That is what I thought.

Why in the hell would he not want to coach? That's all these guys do. Especially going back to just the defensive side of the ball, which he excels at.

Hell, isn't Weis still being paid by Notre Dame, while coaching at Kansas?

He may want to take some time off after seeing one of his brains out right in front of him.

I'm really hoping we get the coach from SF. Think he's d line? His name slips my mind but he's been mentioned here several times.

Pay him cheaply first two years let kc foot the bill, big balloon payment in third year, gives extra incentive to work now

Ed Donatell is the 49ers guy, and Chad I like that idea

Are we sure we want a coach who's players commit murder/suicides?

I like the niners dline coach just as much. Jim Tomsula. His history of player development is unreal

I'd rather Tomsula over Donatell as well.

Any guy that can coach with all that chest hair hanging out is ok with me.
