Will there ever be a PM function on this site?

I'm sure I'm beating a dead horse, and spare me the "there is one" and "premium membership" bullshite. This request comes from a discussion on the OB about threads turning into IM discussions solely because questions are answered quickly and side discussions about fishing/hunting spots start up because they aren't worthy for a separate thread every time to talk about it. If we had a legit private message function, we could reduce clutter and keep the non relevant questions for some individual posters between the two of us. Just a thought, but go ahead and crucify me. TIA

I'm not all about that. At the same time, I think the OT would ruin any chances to have a PM feature.

No, because that's what everyone already uses to pm. I don't think chicken wants people sending dick pics to llotot through PMs on his site.

Could you imagine how bad a LLotOT would get stalked?
You already have posters sending their dick pics to the few they have e-mail addresses for on the back channels. Now make every LLotOT able to recieve PMs from people. That's stalker city.

Exactly. I have a gmail account strictly for TD which is my screen name. It's free and quick to set up.
