You know how I know ESPN recruiting is a joke?

They don't even have Tre'davious White in their Top 300. He's a five star on almost every other website. This isn't an ESPN hates LSU thread, it's an ESPN sucks thread. Comment accordingly

All of the recruiting services screw up. I think most feel 247 is now the best at analysis, but they don't have Anthony Jennings in their Top-247.

It's one thing to miss a little, but to have him outside the top 300 when he's in the top 20 everywhere else is asinine. It's like they don't try. Herron is pretty low too.

Those Nike sparq combines are half the battle, if a player doesn't go to them, they don't get evaluated properly

They don't go back and reevaluate kids that aren't in their UA game or a favorite of theirs. Always has been this way and will continue to. I don't even look at their rankings after the initial ones. They had OG Chris Taylor as a top 10 player in the state for most of the year. Not knocking the kid but he's nowhere near that good.

And coincidentally, if you are invited to the Under Armour All-American Game (an event covered by ESPN), you get rated higher than anyone else as well.
