He's still going first round. But his film is not impressive at all. And his last game was utter shite.

NFL scouts know whats up besides the hoax crap. Honestly, would not want Teo as a 1st or 2nd round pick. Has nothing to do with spite or the lie. He looks slow, undersize, he whiffs, I don't ever see him lower the boom. Most of his tackles are BS gang related tackles. He's not the difference maker made out to be.

I think he is just another guy who stood out at the college level but won't do much in the pros.

It really is pathetic. You go to ND, you are the star player for the football team, you can easily get arse.

speaking of gay...

in our world where espn becomes more like tmz every day the Teo story has evolved to this...

Is Teo gay?

The whole thing done to disguise his propensity for spending too much time in the locker room shower?

Theory about why Manti did what he did has reached NFL team circles and if true absolutely explains his actions. LINK

still worth a shot in the 3rd round. there are two types of picks after the first two rounds: players that were projected to go higher and dropped (if they do nothing in the pros, then it was worth the shot), and players with much upside that are relatively unknown (these are the ones that can bite you in the arse if a miss but sets you up for the genius label if successful).

Yes I simplified things a bunch here, but the point remains that a guy as successful as he was in college with a draft grade in the mid first is absolutely worth the pick in the third or later rounds.

yeah true.

There was a player last year who had a huge fallout, Vontaze Burfict. He went undrafted but the Bengals ended up signing him. He went on to lead them in tackles this past year.

At one time Burfict looked to be a pretty high draft pick but he had a bad combine and it was reported that he was out of shape at his Pro Day workout.

It will be interesting to see how Te'o responds to his own situation.

No chance he is there past the 1st round.

How does a guy that is being talked about as one of the best LB coming out of college get drafted in the 6th round?

Come on guys, get it together. This thread sucks.

He won't be available in the 6th, or the 2nd, 3rd, 4th...

He is going in the first round regardless of if he lied. Who cares besides the media? Do you really think NFL scouts are talking about this as a bad thing right now? He is getting so much publicity right now everyone is talking about him and not Geno Smith or any other guy in the draft.

I say he goes before the Saints first pick at #15 overall.

I don't want this jackass under any conditions. Let someone else draft this circus. We don't need goofballs like this on our team.
