I just got a S&W Shield .40 an love it. What a great carry pistol. I got lucky and kept calling Academy here in Katy. They are back ordered by the thousands and Academy only got 200 for all of their stores that week that I got mine. I had been calling all over Houston for weeks and no one had them. Good luck

By no means am I pissed off. I'm just saying I think it is a quality gun with good accuracy for a carry gun. I think i have an idea who you are. What type of weapons are you talking about so I can see if I am correct in who I think you are?

Did you shoot it before? I shot the 9mm and loved it. Tried to buy one but only a 40 v3 compact was available. Bought it anyways, didn't think there was much of a difference but it kick like a mule..hate it
