Calandros in Baton Rouge FTW
Their king cake is actually very good. That store is one of the few things I miss about Baton Rouge.

From living in New Orleans for 2 years and Baton Rouge my first 30 years. Haydels is by far the best I've ever tasted.

Just thought I would toss this in. Passed through New Orleans the other day and picked up a cake from Le Boucherie. Wasn't very good. It was moist enough but there was almost zero filling. Not much icing either.
