My miniature schnauzer has a growth on her nose. I'm taking her to the vet in the morning. Does anyone know what it may be? She is 3.5 years old.

I believe BRgetthenet's wife is a vet. Correct me if I'm worng.

Umm, AIDS. JTTF is the only answer.

Luckily she was spayed at an early age. Hoping it's not signs of skin cancer.

How old is it? Looks like cancer to me, although I treat people, not dogs. Non-healing, ulcerated lesions of significant duration are worrisome. Hopefully it's infection.

There is one on her chest, also. She is 3.5 years old. I read about "schnauzer bumps" but don't know if it is the same thing.

Pretty quickly. I don't remember seeing it before Saturday.

It feels hard, but you can see blood in it.

What did he say?

I wish I could see it closer. Any odd coloring? Does it hurt her when you press down on it or touch it?

Said it was just a cyst that busted. They removed it, and said it shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks, I'd like her to look at it, also. Just grew pretty quickly to be a cyst

She said it looked like a sebaceous cyst adenoma. Schnauzers get them all over their body, and you'll just have to keep getting them removed she said. She also said not to worry about them. Pretty common.

Sorry I didn't get back to ya sooner.

mine had a similar growth when he was 1. The vet removed it, tested it, and everything was fine.
