To be fair, without Johnny Football they would have, no one could have predicted his impact as a freshmen even their coaches.

As to Texas recruiting, RSJ probably would have ended up at LSU had A&M and Johnny Football not started putting up video game numbers, so there has been an impact. That said, Lecouture is from Texas and was at one time committed to Texas A&M. In fact, he played ball at A&M Consolidated High School in College Station before his family moved to Nebraska, so LSU won that battle. Also, LSU already has a Texas commit for 2014, Chris Hardeman a CB from Houston (Alief Taylor).

If RSJ was committed to LSU you guys that are now saying he sucks wouldn't be able to even talk because your mouths would be stuffed with his cock.

Sorry, but I don;t see the world is such stark contrast. A&M joining the SEC will help A&M, so you can't say it will zero impact on LSU and LSU recruiting, but it we will still get Texas recruits.

More like 8-4. but it depends on who would have won the QB job. Other QB's may not have put up the same numbers, but that doesn't mean they couldn't have been good. They were 3-4 plays from 9, 10 wins last year. They had a lot of talent, JFF and Sumlin put them over the top.

Sure, but no signature win at Alabama and no Heisman trophy, and, therefore, no hype parade. Success begets success, hats off to them, but the stars aligned for them with Johnny Football.

I respectfully disagree. What big time reciever who has paid attention would pick LSU offense over Aggie's offense?
