It sounds like you found your spot but you can park in the “gulch” lots. They are the lots across from Philips but under the bridge. Lot A is outside and Lob B is under the CNN deck. We are season ticket holders and our pass is in Lot B but you can always pay the day of. Regular season gameday parking is $20.
Easiest way is to get off at Williams street on 75 S, hang your first right and then take a left on Marietta and you’ll turn in at the GA world congress center.

I partied at a bar right outside the dome for the chicken bowl. We took the Marta to get there. The place had 150 beers on tap. I can't think of the name though, it may have been called taco mac. Part of the CNN bldg if I remember correctly

Taco Mac is correct. Chain restaurant here in Atlanta.
