What can I do with a series 6 license that does not pay commission?

I currently work for a financial group and am studying to get my series 6 license. The company is great but everything on our end is more or less a sales role, and thus pays based on performance (ie commission). If I elect to stay in the financial services industry, what are some jobs where I could utilize my series 6 license, but earn a salary as opposed to commission? And not some meager salary plus commission, I'm talking just strictly a salary. Anyone know of any positions?

I'm just curious why you wouldn't want to work on commission if you're getting a series 6?

I haven't made the decision to leave a commission pay structure yet, just exploring what other options may be available.
But the reason I'm even exploring is because I'm kind of tired of the roller coaster ride a commission plan can be. All it takes is one bad week to have a shitty pay check.

I hear ya, been on straight commission for along time. The only thing I like about it is in the financial industry, you have residual checks. Like Christmas on the 25th of each month, lol.

You should get the 7, it'll give you more opportunities.
