OU was powerless. Chavis had him in the bag after the first quarter.

Yet Stoops is praised as one of the greatest defensive minds and has been embarassed countless times.

Anyone have any ideas on how we beat A&M? Honestly, I cannot figure it.

switched to 3 down linemen and 6 DBs (mustang package) and Manziel couldn't do shite. It's the same thing FLorida did except they had 3 LBs instead of 2. Bama chose to go 4 down linemen instead of their normal 3 DL and they got beat. OU decided to do the same and got beat. For all those that point fingers at our coached for being dumb, they should be looking at both those teams and saying the same crap. You have to have DBs to confuse Manziel and pressure from the DL, LSU got both and Manziel threw picks b/c of it. It took Florida a half to figure it out, it took Chavis a quarter. Bama and OU never figured it out. Only 1 was not forced by LSU because it hit the guy in the chest.

For what it's worth, one of the interceptions went through a receivers hands, off his chest, and up into the air(like you just posted above). Another one the receiver broke off his route and Johnny threw it like a fade. You could make a strong case that both, at the very least one of those two picks weren't his fault. Johnny has also gotten much better and more comfortable in the pocket each week of the season.

In my opinion you guys beat us because y'all take advantage of other team's mistakes like no team I've ever seen. The pick and Malena fumble right before half time changed the entire game. Not to mention missing a PAT, and a 30ish yard fg. (Not holding the 50 yarder against him) We also scored a touchdown that was called back because of a completely unnecessary chop block by our lineman.

There were a lot of things that happened for LSU to beat A&M this season. Not just what you did to Johnny, but what you did taking advantage of some forced and unforced errors by A&M. Forcing a fumble and that incredible diving catch before halftime was probably the biggest sequence of plays the entire game.

LSU made plays that day when it mattered most. A&M did not.
