How are the crawfish looking at Sammy's so far?
Worth getting yet or still small

They are on the small side everywhere. I had some last week at Sammy's, and they were good, but on the smaller side.

If you have a hankering, they are worth getting just to get you ready for the next few months.

I went Sunday and like the above poster said, kinda small (few nice ones) but they will satisfy your craving. Think I was only able to eat 2 or 3 claws

The Crawfish are looking pretty good for this time of the year. The recent cold weather made the smaller crawfish run more. Had some at Sammy's in Zachary the other night that were vey nice.

I picked up 10 lbs from Sammy's Highland last night.

The flav was good. They weren't on the small side, they were small.

I'm gonna wait to go back. One month.

Who am I kidding? I'll try again next week.

I looked at a few sacks today and passed on boiling crawfish tonight. They are still small. If it warms up next week, they should get a bit bigger.

Burling skrimps instead.

Got some at sammy's in central last night. was very surprised by the size. These were more like middle of the season size. price was ridiculous (4.95) but it is very early

How many pounds does a single person usually order there?

I'm going there tonight.

We went to Montalbano's last night. They were pretty small but still delicious. Blows everywhere else in BR out of the water.

Best in BR hands down. Hell of a lunch place too. Only negative is the small parking lot. Always have trouble getting out of there!
