But I sure would love that Teddy Bridgewater and Eli Rogers combo here at LSU. Bridgewater has been impressive in every game I've watched of his.

They wouldn't be as good here. Im sorry for sounding so pessimistic, but it seems like LSU just cant develop great QBs

Miles hasn't had a decent QB to work with in quite a while. Certainly no one of the caliber of Bridgewater.

Ryan Perriloux was a 5 star and #1 Ranked QB
Lee was a 4 star and #7 ranked QB
JJ was a 4 star and #8 ranked QB.
Shep was a 5 star and #1 ranked QB
Mett was a 4 star and #11 ranked QB
Bridgewater was a 4 star and #6 ranked QB.

Miles has had plenty of talent to work with.

ETA: Either Miles had talent to work with and didn't teach that talent or he did a bad job of judging QBs. Either way, the product sans Saban's QBs has left a lot to be desired.

We did not want that package deal with that LB who was his friend IIRC.

See Confirmation Bias: "a tendency of people to favor information that confirms their beliefs or hypotheses."

This leads to attitude polarization: "when a disagreement becomes more extreme even though the different parties are exposed to the same evidence"

Perriloux was on the path to being fantastic but his lifestyle sidetracked him. Not Les's fault

Lee-his Rfreshman year ruined him. He was gunshy from then on. Deer in headlights

JJ-physical tools everywhere. Much discussed lack of mental awareness. Wasn't "QB smart"

Shepard-was never gonna be a QB. If you think we sucked with the qbs the last 4 years, put Shepard there and see what would have happened. Noodle arm. We'd have had to run the triple option for him to play QB

Mett-great physical tools and still has a chance to fulfill it all but looks like another with a lack of "QB smarts" to me. Has absolutely.no awareness.

Bridgewater-the guys on here that loved him as a recruit always knew he'd be what he is. He's a gamer and aleader. We should've taken him.

Les and the QB coaches can be faulted for bad evals but they can't change the flaws of the QBs above.

Thank you. He's also doing this with literally no running game

That's weird, I thought they were playing college football. Who cares about their NFL project-ability?
