Smith and Wesson M&P .45

Love it after putting 100 rds thru it so far. Going again on Sunday to shoot. No complaints at this point.

Changed the backstrap to the large, even though I don't have large hands. Feels better between the thumb and forefinger that way.

Been working in friggin NJ since 'Superstorm Sandy' , so had to wait until I got home to get it.

M&P guys, regarding ammo...

I bought 200 rds Winchester FMJ for target, 230 gr. For defense rd, bought Speer Gold Dot 230 gr.

While at Academy spending gift cards yesterday, picked up 50 rds of "Tullamo"? Steel casing. Anyone know if that was a mistake? Cheap shite to use for target, but don't wanna eff the gun up.

Exactly what I shoot in my Kimber

Dont think you will mess up anything, you just may have issues with reliability. May want to check on that, ask in the M&P forums or see what anyone else here says, but I feel like if it would damage the weapon itself, then I would have heard about it.

Thanks. It was only like $16 for 50 rounds.

Buddy of mine has the 9mm, the .40, and the .45, plus the Shield in 9mm. I shot all of these prior to buying mine, and the .45 is the deal. (Shield is different as it's a CC)

When I get a CC pistol, I'll look at the Shield for sure.
