Walter Young- 5* DE from Purvis, Ms? LSU commit to dinardeaux, but chose a baseball career. Did he Antron Seiber his way out of the league? Also, how badass was Seiber at qb? Would he have been a stud in the league?

I think Young died a few years back
Seiber was no better than Herb Tyler if that

Seiber was better than herb tyler as a runner and passer, no doubt. Now whether he would have been a great player here I can't answer. I heard he didn't know much about reading defenses because his high school team didn't require him to

Could've been the sequel to Booger Mc Farland. Can't say I blame him for taking MLB money outta HS.

Sieber was a beast in HS. so was Young. but im pretty sure both were recruited by Saban while at LSU.

Sieber was leaps and bounds better than Herb Tyler by the way.

hate to hijack, but what ever happened to Tim Pope?? i remember his run ins with the law in Fla but just wondering what ever came of him.

i knew some guys who played with him and all say he was the best LB they have ever seen. but that he wasnt playing with a full deck. had one of the sickest HS films i have ever seen.

I guess Seiber didn't have to learn to read a defense with 4.5 speed and a "safety valve" named Toefield.

Young signed for only 30K? Damn, how times have changed. Cam gets 180K for amateur status. Inflation, man.
