There's not going to be a package deal. That never works. They are just full of shite.

Agree. Priest comes from a vastly more structured and different background than Goodman. Priest has his eye on the ball and future with success being the only option. He's gonna do what is best for him regardless of Goodman.

Can't remember where I read it, but somewhere in an interview, Priest said it didn't matter where Goodman went, it wouldn't affect his decision. That wasn't but about 1 -2 months ago.

I think they started out and wanted to play together and might still, but these things are fluid and writing is on the wall - there are limited spots at the premier programs, as is.

With that said, I would take them both. But as also has been said, looks more like Goodman is west coast and Willis is looking for his best option.

Giving this a bump. Just saw on twitter how priest Willis retweeted someone saying that they want him to commit to LSU for Christmas. Interesting!

No I'm not implying he's committing tomorrow but I do take it as a good sign-- he doesn't seem to be retweeting other colleges. Too hopeful? Probably

That was me he tweeted, yea he always tweets like he's going to Lsu, he even said in a tweet to andy dodd i believe he would be wearing number 30, so while speaking to an Lsu guy im assuming he means an LSU commitment.

Sounds like Goodman wants to go to the same college as Willis, but Goodman only wants west coast and Preist is telling him LSU is my best option so are you coming or what bro

He used to retweet every school, but he's slowed down now... He does retweet LSU more, but how mch can we really rely on twitter?

Exactly what I was thinking. Can't rely on twitter. But nevertheless, it's entertaining!

I am hoping as much as anyone the Tigers can sign Willis, but if not, do you think the focus shifts back to Burns or another out of state DB?

People on this site need to remember that twitter to these kids in this the new "Hat rope a dope" so do not take hat they say on there too seriously. They treat it as entertainment and love when we folks glued to High School recruiting go crazy.

Yes, they are already looking at Carter out of Miami as a Safety / Nickel guy.

Carter's not flipping. I'm curious as to who the other options are as well at S if we miss on Willis. I've always had a good feeling about Willis but I've tempered that because I'm not confident. We need a S in the class and with Cutrer maybe not getting in and Willis no lock, I'm curious as to who the staff has on the board after them. Has to be someone.

Reading the TB article on Priest Willis' visit, it sounds like we have a really good shot at landing him. However, he won't be announcing where he will be playing college ball at the UA All American game on January 5. Instead, he will take on more official visit on January 18.
