Because they're morons and they NEVER shut up. I was trying to listen to the 49ers game on my drive back to Houston and had to change to the 49ers broadcast because Hokie and Jim would talk through every single penalty flag. The ref would make the penalty announcement and Hokie would be talking about River Parish trash or Jim would be talking about something that happened in 1997. They did this crap all game long! I could never figure wtf was going on in the game.

Jim is probably one of the best play-by-play announcer on any football coverage in the South.
I guess you guys didn't grow up with 870AM like I did when the Saints games were always blacked out.

He was talking about how the cowboys hadto piece a defense togather ad nauseam, but never mentioned that the saints put two dbs on IR this week.
