Ah, I'm glad you brought Gransberry up.

There was nothing wrong with his grades. He was in school and went through all of fall practice. Then the exhibition game came and he was the ONLY player that didn't play for some inexplicable reason. Even the Walkons played. He left the team shortly after that( cant imagine why, certainly he had to get along great with Brady) and transferred to South Florida, where he would go on to lead the best conference in the country in rebounding 2 years in a row I believe, averaging a double/double both years.

But he wasn't good enough to play in an exhibition game for John Brady

the student section just blows in general because no one goes to the games. we all used to go win or lose... unfortunately there were more losses than wins.

Agreed. Hopefully they keep winning to get people to come in. They are a fun team to watch so people will come back after seeing them once.

You can look at the way a game is going... I mean that NW St game, you knew it was going to be a high scoring affair and Trent's offense was 100% not suited for that. Look at us against Oregon. We just couldn't keep up.

And I would argue there's no way NW St scores that many points against a Trent Johnson coached team. They only had 38 at half

they beat an average Miss St team who ended the season horribly and Alabama without 3 starters...

Both teams still much better than any team LSU has played so far.

That's funny. Brady lost to South Alabama last year by 17 points. You want to run that statement by me again?

And what about Brady losing to Tulane for the first time in 25+ years. Please oh illiterate one, attempt to explain that one.

I've already told you how to make me stop.

Actually I missed this earlier so let me revisit.

Gransberry was ON the final 4 team before he left LSU you bumbling moron. Explain to me how he was this top flight recruit that signed after the final 4 run when he was ALREADY ON THE TEAM AND LEFT. And he didn't leave because he didn't make the grades, he left because John Brady is a jackass.

If there were no more scholarships available, explain why Brady tried and failed to sign Scottie Reynolds, Damion James, and at least one other big man who's name I can't remember at the moment. Please, oh great sage of LSU Basketball lore.

Trent lost at home to a La. team for the first time in 20 something years... every coach has a bad loss here and there.

I'm not arguing that. That post was in response to the wannabe nba scout that couldn't stop talking about the South Alabama game last year.

From what I remember, we played 2 exhibition games tht year. The first game he either didn't play at all or only played 1/2 minutes. The next game he didn't play at all. He left the team because he was uhappy about playing time in those games. Brady called it a knee-jerk reaction and said he wished he would've played him more.
