I've had one for years. Got it in Montana for winter time. It's got holes in it now. Needs replacing. Never thought about wearing for sun protection. But they are great for keeping the ears and neck warm.

1) Keeps the sun off the neck, ears, and face. Skin cancer sucks!
2) Keeps the gnats off better than anything else.

4) In the summer you dip it in the ice chest water and you are kept cool for quite a while.

do want now

I can see the point of using them in the winter or for the gnats. However in the summer, I don't see what is so inconvenient about applying sunscreen.

wind more than sun, but they work good for sun too. You can pull it over your ears while running and it really cuts down on wind noise too which is nice on two hour runs to the canyon.

They had some. Looked like they were redoing the display. Just piled up on a cart. I didn't feel like digging in it.

I'll get online.

They were near the carhart stuff. Just piled up on a cart. With plenty other shite mixed in.

That's why I didn't dig just figured I'd order online.

May want to try the backpacker. Not going to be the cheapest but you can check them out there.
