Anybody play classical guitar? I know some people use nylon string guitars for different feel in steel string type music, but does anybody play the old Spanish solo classical like Tarrega, Sor, Villa-Lobos, etc.?

Either way, I'm looking into buying a new classical, but all the stores around only have, at most, around 3 or 4 guitars. Is there a place within a reasonable drive that would have a significant amount of classical guitars to try out? I just can't bring myself to buy online without holding a guitar in my hand first.

I play a little. Although I'm relatively new to it. I've played steel string for like 15 years, but am wanting to learn more on classical.

I'm currently playing on a Cordoba (rosewood back/sides, cedar top), but one day I would like to have a Jose Ramirez or Francisco Navarro or something similar. But I also want to play it before I buy it. You may try calling some of the stores in Nashville like Gruhn Guitars, and see if they can recommend a place with a bigger selection.

I used to be that way, but I've had a couple good experiences from buying online... so I guess I'm here to try and push you in that direction. Especially trying to find a niche guitar like this..

My step father plays classical and flamenco. He has a custom made guitar that is worth quiet a bit. He bought me a La Patrie Concert. Not very expensive but is great for learning.

I like cordoba guitars. They are nice. I'm looking at a gk studio. I want a brighter snappier sound, so I'm looking at flamenco guitars as well. However, I'm pretty sure I'm gonna go with the takamine eg522c. I like the brighter color of the spruce top. A cutaway is nice to have too.
