Just finished it. Sucks that it just kind of ends. Was this a fox show. If so, they need to be shot for this, Firefly, and Arrested Development.

If you ever get the chance, get the DVDs and listen to the commentaries. They are all GREAT and pretty diverse, almost all the cast, usually 2-4 different cast members (and often Judd Apatow) per episode. They were done after the show was canceled but already adored by fans and everyone is really proud of what the work they had done. One GREAT episode was when the PE Coach, the math teacher (always angry guy) and I think the guidance counselor did their commentaries in character. It was GOLD!
One thing Apatow (I think) said was Martin Star (Bill) was working out a lot and between scenes would climb up and down the rope in the gym for kicks. They finally had to tell him to stop getting so big cause it didn't jive with his nerdy character.

How did I not know this. That movie defined my childhood and is possibly my favorite sports movie of all time.
When bill called timeout he should have said "C'mon Bill my clothes are going out of style."

Man, I first started watching this on ABC Family back in like 2000, just after it got canceled and they'd play 2 episodes back to back on Monday nights I think. When I first saw that guy, I was kind of half arse watching Jackass in it's early years on MTV and thought the bully was Steve-O when he was younger.
it wasn't til a few years ago while watching it on IFC that I realized it was Squints.
