IGN article I read said they wanted extra time to polish the game.

Almost every time I say that, the game sucks in the end. Except Perfect Dark. That was well worth it.

It looks beautiful. I'm still not sold on the AI companion. Hopefully it works here.

It's refreshing in this industry. After you play through it, you won't remember how long it took to get here, only how good it was.

FWIW, I've seen my share of delayed turds too. Those are the worst ones because there's zero excuse.
