Thanks man.

I think it makes people better cooks/chefs if they can get honest feedback.

And I love my Henckels.

Looks good to me.

It's a low fat cheese. The dry cheeses have a lot of flavor with a lower fat content. 1 oz parmesean or romano is WAY more flavorful than 1oz cream cheese, mozzarella, or cheddar. Go wild.

O, and if you want to cut the fat, you swap the thigh meat with the titahs. Much leaner.

Agree to disagree. I love mine, and have been using it religiously for over a year.

Breast are bigger than thighs. Are those from the same serving size amount?

That must be non trimmed. I trim the fat off the breasts and there is literally zero fat. Most chicken breast nutritional facts are between 0 and 1 gram of fat. I'm OCD about leaving fat on chicken breasts so I get every morsel off

Breasts are bigger than thighs.

Depends on what fat gal you are hanging with.

This is from Livestrong:

quote:

If you are trying to keep your fat intake down, chicken breast is the better choice because it contains less than the thigh. One cup of cooked chicken breast contains 5 g of fat compared to the 15 g in the chicken thigh. A diet that limits fat is one that reduces your risk of developing heart disease. In addition, a lower fat content results in less calories; 231 for chicken breast versus 293 for the thigh. Keeping your calorie intake moderate allows you to lose weight or maintain your current number.

A hundred grams of skinless (roasted) chicken thigh, about 3 1/2 ounces, contains 209 calories and has 10.9 grams of fat. Compare that with the same amount of skinless (roasted) chicken breast at 165 calories and 3.57 grams of fat. In terms of saturated fat, that amount of thigh meat contains 2 grams more than the breast, 3 grams instead of 1 gram.

So it's conflicting reports, but it's a lot less than people think. And tastes MUCH much better. At least in my opinion.
