Richard Pryor def did not belong in Superman. Too campy.

And all Superman movies suffer from the same problem--lack of good villains. Lex is Incredibly uninteresting and his goofy attempts to take over the world are also hokey.

Man of Steel will solve that by bringing in General Zod. The fight should be absolutely epic. Two badass yellow sun powered Kryptonians fighting each other balls to the wall.

I really can't wait to see this on the big screen.

That was the biggest problem with Superman Returns, he never really engaged in combat with anyone. Hell, he never even so much as threw a punch at anyone.

Eh, he's uninteresting and hokey when he tries to take over the world with his absurd real estate and kryptonite island schemes. When he's trying to kill Superman, he is definitely interesting.

I can get on board with this. I mean, we can't be the only ones who want to see Supes actually kick arse? It's like with. Spider-Man for me. More fighting, less Clark Kent/Peter Parker.

You've lived a charmed life if AI was the worst movie you've seen.

Yeah, from a Superman fan standpoint, 3 was worse. Even as a 8 year old I knew Richard Pryor had no business being in Superman movie. The villains were horrible.

This, Superman IV was kinda badass if you were under the age of 12.

Superman III sucked no matter how old you were.

I actually enjoyed Superman 3.

I liked the evil scotch drinking superman.

How would Superman get drunk BTW?

He can't.

Alcohol doesn't affect him.

Which is another reason why I said Superman III and IV are blasphemy to the Superman mythos.

I saw it in the theater at the age of 11 and liked it then. But, upon seeing it again about 5 years later, I realized how bad it was. I still really liked Reeve as Superman though. He always delivered in the roll. The fight between Clark Kent and evil Superman was the only good thing about the 3rd film.

I liked Superman III due to our introduction to Smallville. And Pryor gave us the basis for Office Space.
