We had plenty of talent on this team, but the talent would have had to play like All-Americans in order for us to be undefeated, and we are not. It's nice to get All-Americans obviously, but there wasn't really any player on the team who screamed All-American like a Patrick Peterson or Honey Badger. I agree that Eric Reid had a good shot, seeing as how he already made the team, but he just didn't play his best ball this year. He also took some of the worst angles I have seen a free safety take on running plays. Real original post here...I know.

LSU is top 3 in the nation as far as youngest team.

The only ones who really had a shot were or D-ends or Reid. I'll put it nicely and say they were underwhelming.

Not surprised or upset about it at all. No one was really deserving of 1st team statistically except perhaps Minter. He all the Jrs come back now for one more year...wishful, unrealistic thinking though. My only surprise was Brad Wing getting no love at all even for All SEC consideration.

Anyone surprised?

not really...but some of the delusional people who have 8-10 juniors declaring for the draft need to wake up. How can LSU have as many players leave who expect to be drafted in the first or second round. It aint gonna happen. Believe it or not there are a few other very talented players who can and will be drafted. Quite honestly ANY junior who leaves is making a bad decision.

We will definitely have an AA next year for pretty much all publications. Bookmark for later.

1. They were under-coached.

We missed out on playing in the SEC title game cause our defense couldn't hold a lead with 90 secs to go in the game and Bama 75 yds away, so coaching was the number one failure.

With all the player/starters we lost before/during the season, it's kinda neat the team was able to over come that to go 10-2 and have the west decided on the last regular season game of the year.

Terrible?

I don't think it was anywhere near All American level, but there is no need for the hyperbole.

I have been saying this, we just aren't very talented this year.

and I've been saying that you are a fricking retard. Are you serious, dude? Not talented?
We had a "down" season, have Les Miles as head coach, and STILL went 10-2 with a top 10 finish. Clearly...we aren't talented

Mingo, Sonic Sam, Freak, Logan, and Jalen Mills were All Americans in my heart.

Minus the Mingo offsides-fest.
