Bob Stoops had LSU at #11 (and Oklahoma at #6)

Frank Beamer had LSU at #10

Mark Dantonio had LSU at #10

Dana Holgerson had LSU at #3

James Franklin had LSU at #5

Not too surprising. I remember after one if their losses last year he went off on a rant about how he wishes WVU could be like LSU. We spanked them in two straight years and earned his respect.

The way LSU played its last few games you can't argue with lower rankings from some of these coaches. I am hoping the team shows up motivated to play against Clemson and mops up for some momentum going into 2013.

Miles needs to take care of business next year. Win all your games and you won't have to worry about anything.

Fact is, the way LSU played much of this season, it says a lot for the LSU national brand in general that this particular Tiger team is ranked as highly as we are. Honestly, our offense has been "offensive" to watch, esp. in the red zone most of th season. Do this again next year and even if we win everything, some other unbeaten teams will capture the national spotlight from us and we'll be drifting somewhere in the middle of the pack.

Over rated at 11 and over rated at 13.. 17 or 18 would be good.

Umm look at our schedule. No way if we go unbeaten we get disrespected nationally at all

What I'm saying is if we stumble around in the red zone all season and bore everybody to death with one dimensional offense next year, like this year, we'll slip in prestige in the polls. You can book it. Makes us look weak, esp. when we're sputtering around with our twinkie opponents and not putting them out in a dominant fashion, quick and totally.
