I love my '11 JGC. I haven't had any major issues with it at all (blower motor failed in the first month, but it was quickly replaced under warranty and it hasn't needed anything but basic maintenance since. (37k miles).

I'm a person who is always tossing my keys to my friends and saying "here, you drive"...and pretty much every person who has ever driven my car has remarked "Wow, I really like how this car drives".

It's the V6 4x4...engine is plenty (I don't know anything but I tend to accelerate quickly). My fiance drove a '09 V8 and while that thing moved it ATE gas, so I went with the V6 on mine. (I get about 19mpg)

Any questions let me know.

FIFY. My '06 JGC has 138,000 trouble free miles on it. Only replaced a water pump, tires and batteries. Jeeps were pretty unreliable in the past, but that started to change in '06 or so. I would get another one if I didn't need a slightly larger car to haul chirrens. The back seat is a little lacking, but it is bigger in the new models than it is in mine.

Happy Jeep customer here. '12 Grand Cherokee. I was hesitant to switch to Chrysler product but the reliability reports for '11 were much improved so I took a chance. Awesome vehicle not a single issue yet at 10k miles.

I'd say for 30k you'd get better interior trims with the Acura or infinity. but IMO the Jeep's look completely trumps those other two options.
