That's true. People need to realize that Coach Miles's performance during that game was the absolute BEST that anybody in history could have done. There was something in the air that night, the stars were bright, Fernando.
Only Coach Miles gave us a chance to win that day. It would have been worse with anybody else at the helm . . . and Saban is not coming back to LSU.

Amen. Couldn't have said it better myself. I have a close family member who still pines for Saban and will not listen to reason even when faced with the breakdown of the Saban years. I give Saban the credit he deserves for pulling our program out of the toilet and giving us a NC, but he left us high and dry to pursue higher glory in the NFL. Miles is not perfect by far, but his record here at LSU is outstanding. People always try to say he's an idiot because of some of the things he has said or done, but at the end of the day, he is a winner. And he just enjoys himself--Saban can barely smile while holding the crystal football. I've seen people on death row smile more than him.
