Check out a Bluegrass/American Roots/Celtic-ish group out of Boston called Annalivia.

Not bad.

Not bad at all.

Alison Krauss and US is great. they really do a great job of combining traditional bluegrass with a contemporary sound.

Traditional bluegrass is one of my favorite genres.

for traditional check out

The Seldom Scene
The Del McCroury Band
Flatts and Scruggs
Norman Blake
JD Crowe and the New South

and course Bill Monroe

contemporary bluegrass:

John Hartford
Leftover Salmon
Old and In the Way
New Grass Revival
Peter Rowan
Sam Bush
David Grisman
Bad Livers
Tony Rice
Green Sky Bluegrass
Railroad Earth
Hot Rize
Tim Osbourne
Infamouse Stringdusters
The Wilders
Big Smith
The Steel Drivers

all great

that's great. i would love to have one of those.

John Hartford is one of my favorites. truly a genius and sad his time passed so soon. I got to see him in concert a couple of times just before he passed.
