BLOPS 2 audio problems

While playing online my system often begins to sound like the audio is being broadcast through a chopper blade or a fan and I am forcd to exit the game and get back in for it to work correctly. Is this a disc problem or is it something some of you have experienced?

Mine has the problem of certain things being heard more through the left speakers (like firing the rifles)and sometimes music, but still has full surround sound with other things. Very annoying.
