Zombie, I somewhat respect you as a poster. I respectfully disagree that we need to go OT in the first round. But I'm gonna need you to make a better post to continuing this discussion.

1) What range do you think we will be drafting? 15-20? Higher/lower?

2) What offensive lineman project as first rounders in that range?

3) Are they better than Strief, Bushrod & Brown?

4) What about tying up so much salary in 4 offensive lineman?

5) Is this an over reaction to one season of unfortunate injuries at one spot?
i) didn't we over reach at RB when PT and Ivory got hurt and now we have what some say is too many running backs?

6) Why not get a proven OT in FA? ie Jake Long

7) How do you justify taking an OT over a defensive player if you are looking at positions over BPA?
i) aren't Strief, Brown and Bushrod more adequate at OT than what we have at DT, OLB and DE?

I'll take it

The way things are going, anywhere from 7-9 to 9-7 seems likely. Sadly not high enough to get an impact defensive player, but low enough to get a piece to help us improve. O-linemen can come in quickly and help a team out.

I honestly don't know. Plenty of time left to evaluate prospects and see who actually comes out

At the moment they are drafted? Possibly. All three of those players are nothing special, with Brown being the old one who has "potential" based on his grade when he was drafted.

All the more reason to draft your line then trying to sign one in FA. We've drafted our oline, and they are okay, but not that great.

It may seem that way, but I've had an issue with the o-line for a while now. They get physically dominated too easily. Also, one can never have too many good linemen

Big money right there. And will probably get tagged by the dolphins

All comes down to where the Saints rank the players. I'm paying we get our 2nd rounder back. I definitely think we go BPA, and it wouldn't shock me if a lineman is there we covet.

Nope. Defensive lineman are what's needed the most if Spag's D is gonna work

Bushrod is a UFA i believe. DLP is a RFA. So they'll have some decisions to make.

So that when he is second string his rookie year the entire fan base shits on him the whole season and the rest of his life for not being an instant first ballot HOFer.
