3 SEC teams in BCS games? Stop the family fight please.

So my family (husband and sons)is squabbling ... some say that YES there is and the others of course say no.

I want them to stop arguing SO wise rant -- is there an exception or not??

(I don't think so for the record)

yes but it's impossible this year.

Could have happened last year with Georgia winning the SEC and LSU/Bama being ranked #1 and #2 and facing off in the title game.

SEC can have 3 teams in the BCS if 2 are in the national championship I believe But neither won conference

I read the BCS guidelines the other day for some clarification on that exact issue.

What I made from it was that the only exception is if 2 teams from the same conference play in the title game and neither wins the conference. I guess last year would of been a example with a chance. UGA beats LSU in the SEC Championship, but Bama and LSU finish #1/#2 in the BCS.
