You can have my table. Bleech.

Unfortunately you can't eat ambiance, because that's all they have.

The one where the little old lady used to peel potatoes in the middle of the seated area/line to order?

Across from Beau Chene?

I went once, had tasteless, small BBQ shrimp poboy. My wife's RB poboy could be beat by dozens of BR poboy places, and BR is not a mecca of RB poboys.

BBQ shrimp poboy is not on very many menus, my favorite non-fried shrimp sandwich is the rocket shrimp at Jasmine's in BR.

Lester I'm not critical of your taste, everyone is different, but LBBT is not someplace I would go to again. But it's not a chain, and the tourists seem to enjoy it, go with by blessing.

BTW I have heard posters say LBBT has a great reuben, you might try it.

you are judging it on one visit. enough said

Im not saying its a great restaurant. but BBQ shrimp can be tough. A great restaurant like Boucherie makes a horrible version.

Liuzza's is damn solid.

Well, the wife decided on Mahoney's on Magazine. We had the fries with RB gravy. These were very good. They gave us a ton of fries. Needless to say, we would get them again. I liked that they didn't just put gravy on them. The gravy had the RB in it as we'll. I went with the RB Po Boy. I told them light mayo and it came that way. It had a lot of RB on it and it was good. Not the best I had, but it was good and I would get it again. I will try to check out Liuzza. Thanks for all the suggestions.

Your crazy. How the hell do you not like it? They do the bbq shrimp perfectly and they give you tons of them.

Chimes has a Mandeville option, if you think the envie at present is worth the drive.
